Our Philosophy
At Soft Landings Behavioral Care, we believe that everyone deserves support that sees them as a person, not as a diagnosis, a behavior, or a problem to fix. Our work is rooted in compassion, dignity, and the radical belief that care should be affirming, accessible, and inclusive.
We meet people where they are.
Whether you’re a neurodivergent parent trying to advocate for your child, a young adult navigating executive function challenges, or someone looking for gentle tools to regulate emotions, we’re here to walk beside you.
Our foundation is behavior science, but our heart is in community.
While our services are informed by Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), we intentionally move away from compliance-based models. Instead, we embrace a trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, and person-centered approach. That means autonomy, consent, and lived experience are central to every plan and interaction.
Soft Landings exists to fill the gap between clinical care and everyday life.
We provide practical tools and emotional support for those who often feel unseen. From families facing systemic barriers, to individuals on the margins of healthcare systems. We’re especially committed to uplifting unhoused individuals, migrant families, LGBTQ+ communities, and those navigating life transitions while neurodivergent.
Soft Landings reflects a lived understanding of what it means to raise a family, seek help, and exist in spaces that aren’t always designed for us.
We are community-rooted, advocacy-minded, and heart-led.
Here, you’ll find evidence-based support without judgment. You’ll find space to explore what works for you. And if all you’re able to do right now is land softly, gently, just for a moment, we’re here to hold that space.
