Welcome!
Soft Landings Behavior Care was born from my desire to create a safe, supportive space where individuals and families can receive the guidance and tools they need to not only navigate behavioral challenges but ultimately thrive on their own terms.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Health Education and a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Arizona State University and with nearly a decade of experience in behavioral health, I have worked closely with families, children, and special populations. Over the years, I have seen both the power of behavioral support and the harm that can come from compliance-based models that don’t honor individual autonomy.
Traditional ABA often focuses on compliance teaching children to follow directions, suppress stimming, or fit into neurotypical expectations. But I saw firsthand how this approach could disregard a child’s autonomy, emotional well-being, and natural way of experiencing the world.
At Soft Landings, we take a neuroaffirming and compassionate approach that:
Prioritizes Autonomy: We collaborate with children and families, ensuring interventions respect their choices and comfort levels.
Respects Neurodivergence: Stimming, alternative communication, and sensory needs are honored rather than suppressed.
Uses Strength-Based Strategies: We focus on building skills in a way that feels supportive, not corrective.
Values Connection Over Compliance: Growth happens through trust, safety, and understanding, not coercion or rigid expectations.
By embracing these principles, we ensure that our services are tailored to honor each individual’s unique journey and that everyone can find a soft landing here, place where they are seen, supported, and valued.
Thank you so much for being here
